Hi! My name is Lauren, and I have lived in Georgia most of my life, surrounded by my loving parents and little sister.
The Holidays in our home were filled with tons of family, immediate & extended, along with friends & neighbors stopping by to celebrate and share in each other's company.
Christmas time was something that our dad took pride in making exceptionally magical, filled with surprises and games. He still brings all of us joy & comfort by providing the love behind the true meaning of Christmas.
Our Mom always made the holidays special with her own surprises & with all of her sweet treats. Every year when winter approaches, I am immediately brought back to our childhood home, immaculately decorated down to the very last detail, sitting in the family room around a coffee table in our matching Pjs on Christmas morning.
In my teens and early 20's, I guess some would say I ventured out and started living on the "wild side" and had a tendency to be a rule breaker - as some of us do. When I was 28, my life was forever changed when I turned the page from the living on the edge to living in the moment & finding peace through my sobriety. I am eternally grateful for not only my family and their support, but for all of the people along the way who encouraged me to take one day at a time.
If you are struggling with addiction or mental health, please feel free to reach out to me for resources and recommendations. It's never too late to start over & take the first step towards freedom!
Fast forward to 2024. I live in Woodstock, Ga with my 6-year-old daughter, Hudson. We live a simple life, filled with Mommy & Me dates, goofy dance sessions & lots of giggles! We are extremely sassy & quick witted, wildly independent, loving & courageous girls taking on life...one day at a time, but now we are doing it together - as a TEAM!
As Type 1 Diabetics, we both also donate time & effort every year to Breakthrough Type 1 in hopes that one day, within Hudson's lifetime, there will be a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
After my divorce in 2021, I found out that I really loved to bake, as it brings me a sense of peace & serenity being in the kitchen. So, I went to the drawing board and started throwing ideas together.
I started out baking my Famous Pumpkin Bread, for some close friends and neighbors, which branched out to new customers and touched even more of the local community that I thought I ever would! Talk about such a fulfilling & purposeful first step with this journey.
2022 was so successful & exciting that I decided to start my own company and that is how I became the face of Freshly Baked & Highly Flavored!
I am so glad you are here & I cannot wait for you to try some of my baked goods. I promise you won't be disappointed!
I sincerely want to say THANK YOU for stopping by as I am looking forward to cultivating new relationships with all of my new customers.
Your support means the world, not only to me, but to my daughter.
With love,
Lauren
